Bayreuth ohne Gewalt e.V.

Bayreuth ohne Gewalt e.V. was founded following the violent death of Dominik Brunner in September 2009. It was initially an informal network for the prevention of violence, called "Gewaltfreie Stadt Bayreuth". The association with its current name was founded in 2014 and has since undertaken and supported various projects that promote peaceful coexistence for all people in Bayreuth.

Commitment to internationalisation and diversity

As a city of science, culture and sport the city of Bayreuth has an invaluable amount of expertise and development opportunities that can help to make the city a place of good coexistence.

By combining this wealth of ideas and expertise, it is possible to create a peaceful, exemplary city that conveys this idea as a city of science, culture and sport to the outside world. This can only be achieved through strong cooperation. We are making our contribution.
