Commissioner for Addiction Prevention

Substance as well as non-substance addiction and abuse can endanger one's study. As the commissioner for addiction prevention at the University of Bayreuth, I support students affected by and those seeking help with questions about addictive behaviour, e.g.

• alcohol-, drug-, medication misuse/addiction,
• gambling addiction, as well as

• related areas such as eating disorders. 

The Consultation 

• is free of charge,unbureaucratic and confidential
• informs and helps finding resources
• helps in finding a suitable specialist department if required

Please note that I cannot provide therapy,  I am solely acting in an advisory capacity.
